Scout Camps & Overnights
Pack 40 camps at a nearby campground in the Fall before the weather gets cold and then again at the end of the scouting year for our awards firebowl ceremony usually in May. In addition, the pack typically holds an indoor campout in February (with an option for outdoor camping for those scouts looking to earn their Polar Bear badge!). Check the calendar for the next campout!
The local council holds a variety of summer camp options for cub scouts. Resident camps are for those scouts that want to get the full camping experience, staying overnight for several consecutive days full of activities. Day camps allow scouts to enjoy the camp activities but not stay overnight at the camp. There are also travelling day camps that move around to towns around the area. Check the website link below for more information.
Webelos woods is similar to a summer resident camp, but it is only for Webelos rank scouts and it is held in the fall, usually October. Activities are more focused for older scouts, specifically those preparing to cross over to Boy Scouts.
Note: Watch the calendar for important dates regarding outdoor activities for our Pack!
